Born on May 7, 1923 in Turnerville, Georgia, he was a son of the late Dolph Columbus Davidson and Annie Cleo Dawkins Davidson. Mr. Davidson attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was a World War II, U.S. Army Air Corp veteran. He was previously employed as generating plant operator for Georgia Power Co., founder of Davidson Well Boring as well as a poultry farmer. He was a member of the VFW, Georgia Power Ambassadors and the H.U.M.P. Pilots Association.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davidson was also preceded in death by his first wife, Anne Dockter; second wife, Hazel Geneva Crisp; brother, Thomas Wyatt Davidson; sisters, Annie Ruth Ivester and Dorothy "Dot" Hardman; special longtime friend, Ethel Young.
