Age 71, son of the late Vincenzo and Raffaela Schalla DiLeva. Mr. DiLeva had served in the United States Army during World War II and had worked for the Erie School District for 35 years, retiring in 1982. He was instrumental in setting up the federal program in the Erie School District. He belonged to the Pennsylvania Retired Teachers Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lee DiLeva.

He is survived by a dear friend, Patricia Lee of Erie; a brother, Paul DiLeva of Erie; five sisters, Mary Fucci, Alice DelPorto and Violet Adiutori, all of Erie, Margaret Monday of Conneaut, Ohio, and Ann Rosarno (d 9/21/2006 age 88 in AZ) of Phoenix, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Waterford Cemetery.
