Billy served three years in the Army as a Tank Crewman Rank of Sergeant. He also enjoyed working crossword puzzles and reading, fishing and gardening. Billy also loved his dog.
He is survived by his sister, Bettye Wells; nieces, Rita (Vince) Arrington, Connie Wells, Ronda (Terry) Clark; nephews, Rick (Tonda) Wells, Randy (Melissa) Wells and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel at 1341 North Baldwin Ave. in Marion with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park.
