Laura Anglin McKinney, 80, of Berea, passed away Thursday evening, July 7, 2011 at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond.

Laura was born on December 27, 1930, in Indiana, to Will and Nancy Powell Anglin, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a retired custodial services employee of Eastern Kentucky University. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother. She was a member of the Sinking Valley Holiness Church and was very faithful to her church.

Survivors include her loving husband, Berlin McKinney, two daughters, Linda Gray (James) and Brenda Jones (Jerry), all of Berea; one brother, Raymond Anglin; four sisters, Ruby and Bertha Willis, Myrtle Jenkins and Mayfra Conrad; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one great grandchild, one brother, Hubert Anglin, and two sisters, Martha Pearson and Nannie McKinney.

Services at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Wilder and Bro. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Sinking Valley Cemetery in Jackson County.
