Marjorie Krauss Wagner, 84, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born Jan. 20, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Constance Carnell Krauss.
Marjorie was a stay-at-home mom for 18 years, raising her children and, at times, caregiver to her nieces and nephews. After raising her children, she worked in the local garment industry.
Marjorie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood C. Wagner, Oct. 25, 1962; an infant son, Gary; sisters, Constance and Elizabeth Krauss Wachter; brothers, Bernard, Frederick and Allen; and nephew, Frederick Krauss Jr.
She is survived by five children, Gregory Wagner, husband of Melanie, Pottsville, JoAnn, wife of Jack Griffin, Minersville, Carol and James "Zero" Davidson, Pottsville, with whom she resided for the past two and a half years, Suzanne, wife of Kenneth Kramer, Bluntsville, Tenn., and Christine, wife of George Wilscosky, Pottsville; grandchildren, Joselyn and Nicole Skeen, Phillip and Joseph Davidson and Michael, Jor dan and Dylan Kramer; great-grandchildren, Jascina and Savannah Crutchfield, Neico Skeen and Michael Kramer II; nieces, Charlene Krauss, Connie Hartman, BethAnn Keller and Cindy Drosky; nephews, Bernard and Ronald Krauss; longtime friend, Victoria Hoffecker, Palo Alto; and her "fifth" daughter, Ann Morris.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 319 Mahantongo St., Pottsville.
