Though diagnosed with cancer seven years ago, Beatrice "Bea" Eisenbach never gave up. She maintained a brave and cheerful outlook of an optimistic future - even through countless radiation treatments, hospitalizations and pain. She continued to see her illness not as a problem, but as a challenge to be conquered. After a long and valiant fight, Beatrice died at Hospice House in Bradenton on June 14. Beatrice, known to her friends and family as Bea, was born August 22, and grew up in Miami, FL. She came to Bradenton in 1982, where she met Samuel Eisenbach the Love of Her Life, and married in November, 1986. Bea resided in Bradenton, Florida and, along with her husband, was a member of The Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Filled with compassion and interest in others, Bea never met a stranger, made friends easily, and maintained contact with many. She had the heart of a volunteer, most notably for the Lions Club, Lighthouse for the Blind and Sight Conservation. Aligning with her desire to serve, she worked as an Activities Coordinator for Snapper Creek Nursing Home for many years, and also served at the Council on Aging and Project Hearth. Before her illness, Bea was a capable seamstress and dedicated many hours to helping others, whether it was making beautiful drapes or just giving loving support. A selfless and strong woman, Bea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Bea is survived by her beloved husband, Sam, and her three children: Kathy Gutierrez (Nick) of Bradenton, Andrea Corbitt (Curtis) of Bradenton, Charles Barbare (Amanda) of Port Charlotte, sister-in-law Helena Daubner, siblings Allan Daubner (Pam) and Geraldine Wilkes, and as well as 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by sister Victoria Vardaman and brother John Daubner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice House, Lions Club or Sight Conservation of Bradenton, an appropriate and appreciated way to celebrate the kind and caring life of a woman committed to serving others. We commend to you, Lord, the Angel that you only loaned to us for a while. Bea's life will be celebrated in a Memorial Service Saturday June 23rd at 10:00 am at Manasota Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Avenue East, Bradenton.
