LOMBARD, Shirley Elizabeth (Johnson) Died peacefully at Hospice Haven in Lake City, FL on July 8, 2016 at the age of 87. Shirley is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Leon of Arlington, MA and Live Oak, FL; her daughter, Cheryl, of Boca Raton, FL; her son, Leon "Buck" Jr., and his wife, Nadine, of Arlington, MA; her granddaughters and their spouses- Leah and Robert Sylvester of Merrimack, NH, Tara and Jacob Lamont of Arlington, MA, and Elena and Thomas Hogan of Woburn, MA; seven cherished great-grandchildren; her sister, Marilyn Johnson, of Pompano Beach, FL; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Shirley was born on August 19,1928 in Arlington, MA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbridge and Madeline Johnson, of Winchester, MA and her brother, Elbridge "Bud" Johnson, Jr., of Belmont, MA. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, July 16, at 2:00 PM at The Village Church, 23736 Park Center Drive, Live Oak, FL. There will be a viewing prior to the service at 1:30 PM. All are welcome to attend. A graveside service will be held in Alton Bay, NH later in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Hospice Haven, 6037 W US Highway 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
