Mrs. Violet C. Neff of 3325 9th St., Rock Island, died at 4:30 this morning in St. Anthony's Hospital after an illness of six weeks.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 at the Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island. The Rev. David Clark of the Bethel Assembly of God will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 tomorrow afternoon.
Mrs. Neff was born March 10, 1921, in Muscatine, a daughter of Francis A. and Violet Moody. She was reared and received her education in Rock Island.
On April 26, 1947 she was married to Robert Neff in Muscatine.
She was a member of VFW Auxiliary No. 1309, Rock Island.
Surviving are the widower; a sister, Mrs. Martha Harrington, Davenport; and a brother, Francis Moody, Rock Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
