The funeral of the late Mrs. Mattie W. Harris, of Richmond, Mich., wife of Henry F. Harris, and daughter of Mrs. M. S. McAllister, of West Brookfield, took place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of David W. Walter, in West Brookfield. The service was conducted by the Rev. C. T. Petty, of East Greenville. Music was supplied by a quartette led by William Johns, of the First Methodist church choir of Massillon. Banked about the casket were beautiful flowers, many of which were from Richmond, including a large wreath from the Richmond Business Mens' association. The pall bearers were John Swier, Fred Hinderschied, C. F. Smith, Elwood Levers, Roy Miller and George Patterson. The three latter were schoolmates of the deceased in West Brookfield. Interment was made in the Massillon cemetery. Mrs. Harris was born in Mechanicstown in 1876, and much of her life was passed in West Brookfield. She was married in Mansfield, November 15, 1905.
