Marie C. Anzengruber, 87, of Gettysburg, PA died Wednesday evening, April 9, 2014 at the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village.
Born August 29, 1926 in Gettysburg, PA she w as the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Thomas) Anzengruber. Ms. Anzengruber was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg.
She worked at L.E. Smith Enterprises as a wholesale magazine and souvenir distributor for many years before retiring early in order to care for her mother and siblings.
She was a resident of Gettysburg her entire life and a long time member of the Gettysburg Moose and their bowling team.
Marie is survived by four nieces, Barbara Guise and her husband John, of Mountaintop, PA, Maryann Henninger, of Boyertown, PA, Carol Melhorn and her husband Michael, of East Berlin, PA, and Roberta "Cookie" Henninger, of Gettysburg, PA.
She was preceded in death by a nephew, Thomas Henninger, and three siblings, Mildred Henninger, Paul Anzengruber, and Mary McCleaf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:30 PM, Monday, April 14, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 25 West High St., Gettysburg with Fr. Bernardo Pistone Celebrant. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
