DEATH RECORD INDEX from microfilm in the Clarksville Library, batch #16163, OBIT: DEPORT TIMES 14 Mar 1940, Thursday, from microfilm in the Clarksville Library: Mrs. F. B. Gaines, 54, died Friday at her home in the Shadowland community following a two weeks' illness. Funeral services, directed by J. M. Grant funeral home, were held Saturday afternoon at Fairview church, with interment in that cemetery. Deceased was born Nov. 13, 1885, at Van Alstyne and was Miss Sallie McLemore before marriage. Survivors include her husband, five sons, J. D., W. L., W. B., B. B., T. G.; four daughters, Mmes. Nettie Simms, Annie Jones, Bessie Poole and Miss Imogene Gaines., DEATH CERTIFICATE issued in Red River Co TX #2799: child of John McLemore and Annie Burns, female white.
