WINNSBORO — Funeral services for Jake Otwell, 70, of Rt. 2, Winnsboro, were to be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home at Columbia with Rev. Roy Moore officiating.
Burial was to be in the Ogden Cemetery at Ogden [Liddieville].
Mr. Otwell died early Wednesday morning in the Caldwell Hospital at Columbia after a short illness.
A native of Franklin Parish, Mr. Otwell was a retired farmer.
Survivors include four brothers, Ernest Otwell of Winnsboro, Quinton Otwell of Hattiesburg, Miss., Ele Wayne Otwell of Natchitoches, and Dr. Guy Otwell of Port Allen; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Robinson and Miss Dulcie Otwell, both of Winnsboro.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
