Mrs. Virginia Bobbitt Wall, 92, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Wesley Long Hospital.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Chapel by the Rev. David Fischler. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Wall was a member of the First Moravian Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir for many years. She was a member of TOPS #NC 275 for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard G. Wall.

She is survived by a son, John E. Wall, and his wife, Patricia of Hampton, Va.; a daughter, Rachel Wall of the home; three grandchildren, Susan Wade and her husband, Mike, Sandra Boger and her husband, David, and Sherry Farthing and her husband, Calvin; four great-grandchildren, John Boger, Dave Boger, Kaeleigh Farthing, Rachel Farthing and a fifth great-grandchild is expected in October, all of Hampton, Va.
