Bessie Mae Key, age 73, of Dodge City, Ala., died Sunday, January 21, 2007, at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, Ala.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Key of Dodge City; 3 sons: Lawrence (Genelle) Key of Garden City, Daniel (Shelia) Key of Dodge City, and David (Chris) Key of Prospect; 2 daughters, Diann (Roger) Weaver of Dodge City and Mary (James) Michaels of Hanceville; 19 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Johnny Stepp of Amarillo, TX; and 1 sister, Juanita Hoff of Amarillo, TX. She was married on April 8, 1950 and was a faithful member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Hanceville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until ? Monday, January 22, 2007 at New Prospect Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at New Prospect Baptist Church at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 23, 2007 with Reverends' Richard Bailey and James Swann officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
