SPRINGFIELD - Memorial services will be held Dec. 27 and Jan. 7 for Joyce Ann Sykes of Springfield, who died Dec. 18 of heart failure. She was 49.
Sykes was born March 24, 1956, in Roseburg, to Wayne and Dorene Thrush Wheeler. She married Roy Sykes on Sept. 9, 1989, in Medford, and they later divorced.
She enjoyed collecting angels and clown dolls.
Survivors include her mother, Dorene Herron of Medford; a son, Justin Sykes of Springfield; a brother, Ron Wheeler of Edmonds, Wash.; and a sister, Janice Roman of Springfield.
Tuesday's burial will be at 11 a.m. at Thrush Cemetery in Camas Valley, followed at noon by the service at Camas Valley Christian Fellowship.
The Jan. 7 service will be at noon at Eastside Faith Center in Eugene. Buell Funeral Chapel in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
