The deceased was botn in Virginia, March 30, 1825, and retired in the county for a number of years. Surviving he leaves the aged widow and eleven children, John T., Joshua, William, Walpole, Edward, Joseph, and Phillip, of Fort Wayne; Jesse, of California, and Mrs. Frank Thompson, Mrs. Nancy Bownarf and Mrs. Oilver Thrasher, of Fort Wayne. Two children preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be helf at 10 o'clock Saturday morning from the residence. Burial at the Hatfield cemetery.
