She was born Aug. 10, 1923, in Marietta, to Arthur Dewey and Iva Blanche (Covey) Devol. Kathryn was a homemaker and a charter member in the Pioneer Ladies Civitan Club. She also enjoyed sewing, crafting, painting and dancing.
She was married to Dean R Hart, who preceded her in death on May 16, 1987.
Kathryn is survived by children, Peggy Grimm (Joseph), Jimmie Hart (Carolyn) and Dennis Hart (Lydia), all of Marietta. Also surviving are grandchildren, Rodney A. Hanson (Anita), Debra Goins (John), Deana Farrah (Shawn), Mark A Hart, Karla Higgins (Mike) and Misty Mercier (Tim); nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Babcock.
In addition to her parents and husband, Kathryn was preceded in death by two grandchildren and sisters, Marie Ray and Alice Griffiths.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
