Andrew Lynn Spann, know to family and friends as "Andy," age 58 died March 13, 2014 at Alive Hospice in Nashville after a brief illness. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 1 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Cullom officiating. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Dickson County Humane Society or to the Charity of your choice.

Born in Nashville, TN and raised in Dickson County. He was the son of Anita Brown Spann and the late Carl Harrison Spann. He was 1973 graduate of Dickson County Senior High School and later attended Austin Peay University and Nashville Tech. He worked in data processing for over 25 years at Nashville General Hospital at Meharry, Nashville, TN. He had a great love for his pets and animals and loved life to its fullest.
Survivors include His Mother, Anita Spann of White Bluff, TN; Brother, Rickey Spann and his wife, Laura of White Bluff, TN; Nephew, Clint Spann; several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
