Anna Wilma Campbell, widow of Roy Robert Campbell Sr., died on Friday, December 12, 2014, in Lexington, Kentucky.

Born February 25, 1922 in Bushtown, KY, she was the daughter of Will and Annie Penman Gayton. She was valedictorian of the 1939 graduating class of West End High School of Harrodsburg, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Brooklyn, NY.

Survivors include two sons; Roy (Lena) R. Campbell Jr. of Lexington, KY and Daryl Campbell of Wappinger Falls, NY: one sister Jewell Lay; one brother, Billy Gayton, one grandson, Roy Campbell III, and several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Hugh & Carrie Shelton of Queens, NY and Annie Frye of Phoenix, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy and two brothers James and Paul Gayton, and by five sisters; Allie Mae, Hope, Ora, Thelma Gayton and Blanche Gayton Miller.
