ZIONS VIEW -- Edwin P. Aldinger, 69, of Zions View died Thursday at home. He retired from Consolidated Freightways; was a Navy veteran of the Korean War; and a member of the Galeton VFW post and Teamsters Union Local 430. Surviving are his wife, Mildred L. Hooper Aldinger; a son, Lynn E. of Zions View; a daughter, Karen A. Weikel of Newburg; three sisters, Josephine Shaw of Denton, Texas, Marjorie Gerber of Steelton and Doris Landis of Elizabethtown; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Quickel Lutheran Church., Zions View. Burial, with military honors, will be in the church cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in Little Funeral Home, Manchester. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Association Hospice Services, 218 E. Market St., York 17403.
