OBITUARIES
BESSIE A. DEMPSEY
Bessie A. Dempsey, a Castle Garden resident for the past sixty years, died Tuesday, February 222, 1977, at the Maple Avenue Hospital in DuBois following an extended illness.
Born March 6, 1887, in Emerickville, she was the daughter of Franlkin S. and Maggie Fyock Freeline, and was married to Lee R. Cempsey, who died in 1962.
She is survived ty two daughters, Alice and Ethel Dempsey, at home, therr sons, Howard, Sinnemahonig; Irvina dn Wayne, both at sGarden' a brother, William Freedline, of Detroit, Michigan; a half-sister, Mrs. Elsie Redstone, Vero Beach, Fla.; and three half-brothers, Mark Freedline, Emporium; Franklin Freedline, Seneca Falls, N. Y.; and Delbert Freedline, Girard, Pa.; five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Walter H. Coppersmith Funeral Home. Friends may also call at the Castle Garden Wesleyan Church on Friday from noon until the time of the services at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Wolcott officiating. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in the Emerickwille Church of God with burial following in the Church of God cemetery.
