Elizabeth Conrad was born in Huntington county, Pennsylvania, on March 27, 1821. When a young girl she often went with her father, who was a Baptist minister, to lead the singing at the services which he conducted at private homes and school house. When quite young she was converted and joined the Baptist church, of which she always has been a faithful member. On the 16th of January, 1840, she was married to George Dill. To this union eight children were born. Her husband and two children, Anson and Jennie, preceded her. Two, Mrs. A. Tomb and Benson Dill, reside in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Ruttinger, George S. Dill, Samuel Dill and Mrs. A. Buchmann reside in Kansas. She departed from this life August 17, 1911, at the age of ninety years, four months and twenty-one days.
