Funeral services for Paula Elizabeth Phillips, age 53, of Bernice will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Weldon Baptist Church in Bernice, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jeff Hurst, and Rev Harvey Hoffman. Interment will follow at Weldon Cemetery in Bernice LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes in Ruston, LA.
Mrs. Phillips was born August 11, 1960 and passed away April 7, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her father: Leroy Blann and brother-in-law: Berry Nesbitt.
Mrs. Phillips was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: Johnny Philips of Bernice, LA: son: Jeremy Lovette and wife Sarah of Mobile AL, mother: Pauline Blann of El Dorado, AR; sister Wanda Blann Hudson and husband David of Bernice, LA; brother: Donald Blann and wife Margaret of Moses Lake, WA; sister: Judy Nesbitt of El Dorado, AR; step-daughter: Chere' Phillips of Bernice, LA; and 2 grandchildren.: Rylee and Ashlynn; and special nephew: Shawn Hudson and 2 nieces in Washington.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Poss, Chad Verdin, Mark Ledbetter, Andrew Johnston, Danny Conn, Heath Ledbetter, James Laird and Daniel Laird.
