Olivia was the third of three daughters and a son born to Francis A and Mary Katherine (Fillius) Kelley. She married Alphonse Conrad Birkenbach and they had two children, daughter Gertrude Olivia (b.1909) and son Lorenz Alphonse (b. 1910).

Francis A. & Mary K. Kelley are on one side of the monument, and Alphonse C and Olivia A Birkenbach are on the opposite side. Dates of death for Mary and son-in-law Alphonse are not inscribed. Mary is buried here, but no one paid to have her date of death, Feb. 19, 1935, inscribed. Alphonse died 10 years after Olivia and is actually buried at Parkwood Cemetery.
