Genevieve "Nenette" White passed away on April 3, 2014. It was her 92nd birthday. Genevieve was born in Suhemn, France and grew up in Verdun, France where she met her husband to be during World War II. The two were married and after the war moved to California. She was a wonderful wife and mother to her four children. She is survived by her husband of 69 years. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She had been a member of the Episcopal Church of the Saviour for 54 years and was active in their Women's Club and Bible Study. Her French spirit and accent will be truly missed. She will be forever in our hearts.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Hanford Cemetery; 10500 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-3937 followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. at The Church of our Saviour; 519 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-7706.
