Donna Ann Baisden Gill, age 55 of Nicholls passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014, at her home after a brief illness. She was born April 15, 1958 to the late Pearlie Ben Baisden and Wilma Lee Carver Baisden. She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Mae Meeks; brother-in-law J. E. Meeks; brother Edward Baisden; brother-in-law Johnny Q Taylor.
Survivors include her husband Glenn Gill of Nicholls; son Chris (Susanne) Meeks of Douglas; daughter Mandy Mae Lee Meeks of Hoboken; two grandchildren, Ethan and Jase Meeks; two sisters Edna Faye Kilgore of Lyons and Evelyn Taylor of Nicholls; two brothers, Johnny Baisden of Waresboro and Lee Baisden of Baker, FL.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Meeks Cemetery in Nicholls.
