Donald Johnston Presque Isle 76. Died 7-15-1993 at a Presque Isle hospital after a long illness. He was born 2-24-1917 in Presque Isle the son of Edward and Serena (Green) Johnston. He was a member of the State Street Baptist Church in Presque Isle. He served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the DAV. He worked in the Civil Service for many years at Presque Isle and Loring Air Force Base. He is survived by his wife, Beulah (Miller) Johnston of Presque Isle, 2 sons, Philip of Presque Isle and Gary of Blue Jay, CA., 3 granddaughters, Elizabeth Gaskell of Windham, Deirdre and Denise Johnston, both of Portland, 1 great grandson, Edward Joseph Gaskell II of Windham, several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Fairmount cemetery.
