For most of his life, he had worked in road construction and as a mechanic. He enjoyed "junkin'" and working on cars. He also liked to collect antiques and coins.
He was a son of the late Otha and Sarah (Hagan) Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruth Joyce Bryant; and four brothers, Jerry "Bear" Bryant, Thomas Bryant, Joe Bryant and Johnny Bryant.
A funeral service was conducted at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home, Brownstown.
Burial will take place at Freetown Cemetery.
