Faye Hardy Foley, age 71, of 3102 US Highway 421 North, Boone, died April 8, 2014, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
She was born July 24, 1942 in Watauga County. She was a retired co-owner of Foley's Auction and a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church.
Faye is survived by her husband, Robert A. Foley, Sr. of the home; three sons, Robert A. Foley, Jr. and wife Sarah of Greensboro, Mark Foley and Richard Foley, both of Boone; one granddaughter, Kassidy Foley of Mountain City, Tennessee; three grandsons, Cameron Foley, Ian Foley, and Benjamin Foley, all of Greensboro; one sister, Nora Holshouser of Chesterfield, South Carolina, and one brother, Bynum Jack Hardy, Jr. and wife Barbara of Deep Gap. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Monteau and Bessie Davila Rodriguez.
Funeral services were held at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Larry Wilson. Burial in Mountlawn Memorial Park and Gardens.
