Betty M. Simpkins, a longtime resident of Modesto, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, April 5th in Columbus, Georgia with her family at her side.
Betty was a woman of faith and family. She believed in the power of God and the strength of His love, always determined to share His love with everyone she came into contact with.
Congenial by nature, she loved to spend time with family and friends, talking and reminiscing, and fellowshipping with others who shared her same devotion to The Lord.
Betty is survived by her son, Neal Arnold; and her granddaughter whom she raised, Melissa Simpkins-Fernandez and husband Stephan.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Simpkins, and son, David Simpkins.
A graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park at 10:00am on Friday, April 11th.
