Mrs. Elizabeth Dakin
Mrs. Elizabeth R. Dakin, 91, of 10 East South St., died Monday morning at 10:30 at the Hampton House Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 5, in Catawissa, she was the former Elizabeth Rohrbach. Her husband, Samuel B., died Jan. 30. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a son, William, Forty Fort; daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Meehan, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Renee Meckes Toole with whom she lived; sisters, Mrs. Mary Schaal, Philadelphia; Miss Catherine Rohrbach, Devin; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held Wednesday from M.S. Frederick & Sons Funeral Home, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre. Rev. Clarence R. Schaffer of St. John's Lutheran Church officiated. Interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
