Mr. Jackowski was born on July 16, 1926, the son of Walter and the late Anna Bukowski Jackowski, in Princeton.
He married Ruth Kitchen on May 7, 1949, in Omro. He was a farmer in rural Princeton until 1951, when he was stricken with polio. He then assisted his wife with city tax collections.
Survivors include: His widow; his father; one daughter, Miss Barbara Jackowski, Fond du Lac; and two sisters, Miss Susan Jackowski, and Mrs. Robert (Irene) Resop, both of Oshkosh.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Rev. J.B. Eberhardy officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. today at Wilsey Funeral Home, Princeton. Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock this evening at the funeral home.
