In Seattle she riveted ships for World War II and in Richland she worked as a duplicating lead at Hanford. Lee was very active serving the Lord at Richland Heights Baptist Church for many years, was a proud member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and was part a bowling league well in to her 90's! She loved spending time with her friends and family and played countless hours of Scrabble, two handed pinochle, and the card game "31" with them. Lee loved to travel in her retirement years; she went to New Zealand, Ireland, Hawaii, New York, her home state of Missouri, and many other destinations.
Lee was preceded in death by her daughter Susan and husband Mike. She is survived by her daughter Karen Skelly, son in-law Varyl Bingeman, grandsons Mike Bingeman (Sarah), Tom Bingeman (Holly), Curt Bingeman, great granddaughter Katie Bingeman, great grandson Zavion Bingeman, and many other friends and family.
A celebration of life service will be held in her honor on Saturday, April 12, 2014, 10:00am at Einan's Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Karen Tomassi for the loving care that she gave Lola Lee during the last few years of her life. THANK YOU
