WEST BEND FUNERAL SET FOR FARMER

August F.Schlueter, 84, Route 6, West Bend, died Wednesday at his home.

He was born Aug. 11, 1884, in Brazil and came to this country as a small child with his parents, Carl and Amelia Roehl Schlueter. He married Ida Lest on Sept 27, 1919, at Campbellsport.

Mr. Schlueter was a farmer all his life, until his retirement.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul Kahut and Mrs. Fritz Kissinger, both of West Bend; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ida Gudex of Route 1, Campbellsport, and one brother Fred of Milwaukee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, who died in August 1963, four children, four brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at A. A. Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend. Jerry Schroeder, Jehovah’s Witness, will be the speaker. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
