Evonne D. Gilborne, 74, of Aberdeen, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014, at Aberdeen Health and Rehab.

Evonne's wishes were to be cremated with no formal services being held.

Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory, 414 5th Avenue NW, Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Evonne Dorothy Gebhardt was born on March 16, 1940, in Monango, ND, to John and Mathilda (Gentry) Gebhardt.

Evonne was united in marriage to George "Bob" Gilborne on April 17, 1971, at First Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen. The couple made Aberdeen their home, where Evonne worked as a lunch server at Presentation College for many years. Evonne and Bob shared over 42 years of marriage before he passed away on July 29, 2013. She continued to reside in Aberdeen until the time of her death.

Surviving Evonne are two brothers: Allen Gebhardt and Delmon Gebhardt; one sister, Verna Greene; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Evonne is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers: Arthur Gebhardt and Clarence Gebhardt; and two sisters: Elsie Nitschke and Irene Schock.
