Born in Perry Township, Clarion County, on Feb. 25, 1923, he was the son of the late Perry and Emma Wyant Barger.
Paul retired from the Witco Chemical Corp. at Petrolia following 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Helen L. Keefer Barger, who he married on Aug. 21, 1943; his two daughters and their husbands, Esther Jean (James) Say of Westfield, N.Y., and Bonnie (Eugene) Bunnel of Portersville; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother, Howard Barger of Karns City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters.
Barger- All arrangements for Paul R. Barger, who passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, are private at the family's request, and burial was this morning at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Dutch Hill, Perry Township, Clarion County.
Services were entrusted to the Buzard Funeral Home, Parker.
