RUTH (LUTYENS) LAUTS , 82, 513 E 5th St., Rock Falls, died Monday evening at Rock Falls Colonial Acres Nursing home. Funeral services will be held at the Wheelock-Allen Funeral Home in Rock Falls, Thursday, 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Clark Devore, pastor of the Church of Christ of Tampico, and the Rev. Philip LaMar, pastor of the First Congregational Church of Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial has been established for the Heart Fund. Mrs. Lauts was born July 30, 1890, Tampico. She was united in marriage to Anton Lauts on Feb. 5, 1949, who preceded her in death on April 2, 1970. She was a member of the Tampico Church of Christ, Rock Falls Royal Neighbors and the Loyal Circle Kings Daughters. Survivors include one brother, Earl, Rock Falls; one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Ina) Warehime, Sterling; one step-daughter, Mrs. Harry (Mary Jane)) Leuske, Rock Falls; two step-sons, Ed Lauts, Rock Falls and Paul, Tampico, and several step grandchildren. Her parents, husband, one sister and one step-son preceded her in death.
