Born in Conway, SC, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Flora Mae Jenerette. Mrs. Ardis attended Myrtle Beach High School and was the wife of the late James Edward Ardis for 57 years, a decorated US Army veteran. Following her husband???s military career, Ghneitta was involved in the family business, Ardis Realty and Builders in Surfside Beach. Her son, Charles Edward Ardis and a sister, Patricia Lebiedz preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughter, Geneice Walsh and her husband, TJ of Murrells Inlet; son, James E. Ardis, Jr. of Surfside Beach; brother, Bennie Jenerette; her beloved grandchildren, Ryan Spangler and his wife Rebecca, Phillip Spangler and Kristina Spangler; great grandchildren, Julian and Emma all of Myrtle Beach.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. Interment will follow at Ocean Woods Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM prior to service.
