Mr. Henry Adler, age 96, a Sunny Ridge resident, died Saturday September 29, 1990, there.
Mr. Adler was born June 24, 1894 in Russia to the late Mr. & Mrs. Henry Adler Sr. In 1913 he came to Portland, Oregon and in 1917 moved to Greeley, Colorado. On July 11, 1919 he married Mrs. Anna Gettman Hein of Greeley. The couple came to Sheboygan in 1923. Mrs. Adler died July 23, 1963.
Henry was employed at the Kohler Company for thirty years.
On August 27, 1966 he married Mrs. Louise Holm of Sheboygan. Mrs. Adler died July 23, 1969.
Mr. Adler has been a resident at Sunny Ridge for the past thirteen years.
He was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Kohler Quarterly Century Club and the Volga Aid Society.
Survivors are two sons; Wallace (Betty) Adler of Howards Grove, WI and Vernon (Irma) Adler of Sheboygan. One daughter; Mrs. Lillian (Eugene) Rapp of Oshkosh, WI. Eleven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren survive. One step-son Harold Hein preceded in death.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 1, 1990, at 7:30 pm at the Ballhorn Chapels. The Rev. Mark E. Christ, Pastor of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, officiating. The burial will be at the Sunrise Memorial Garden. Friends may call at Ballhorn Chapels beginning 4:00 p.m. Monday to time of services.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Adler's name for the Ebenezer Lutheran Church.

Heinrich Jacob Adler was born in Friedrichsfeld, Russia. He was the son of Johann Heinrich Adler and Maria Catharina Schlägel. Henry immigrated to America in 1913 and settled first in Greeley, Colorado. There he married the widow Anna Margareth Gettmann Hein 11 Jul 1919. Three children were born to this marriage: Lillian, born in Colorado; Wallace and Vernon, born in Wisconsin; and his wife's young son Harold, born in Colorado.
