Susan A. Craig age 65, a resident of Bourbon, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 7:14 A.M. unexpectedly in her home.
Susan was born the daughter of John Benedict and Helen (Yates) Benedict at Rochester, Indiana on March 20, 1949. She was a lifelong resident of the Bourbon area and a graduate of Bourbon High School. Susan had been a Pharmacy Technician for over twenty years at various pharmacies in the area, a member of Bourbon First United Methodist Church and she was a member of the Bourbon American Legion, Post #424 Auxiliary.
Susan joined in marriage to DeVon on October 23, 1970; he died October 30, 2013. She is survived by her daughter; Shawn and husband David Gargis of Warsaw, three grandchildren; Brittny and Zac Moriarty and great granddaughter Adalyn, Brogan Gargis and Briley Gargis all of Warsaw. Also surviving are her two brothers: Danny and CarolynBenedict and Benny Benedict all of Bourbon and several nieces and nephews.
Proceeding in death were her Parents and her husband.
There will be no services or visitation at this time in honoring her wishes. The family has chosen to have a Celebration of Life at a later date, to be announced.
