Teresa Kathleen "Pat" Henson, 87, died Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was born Feb. 1, 1927, at Arlington, Mass., the daughter of James and Immaculata Bruesta Panetta.

She was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and had been a homemaker.

In December of 1974, she married James F. Henson in Hutchinson. He died Nov. 18, 1983. She is survived by: her children, Philip Fairbanks of South Hutchinson, Deborah and Bill Franz of Maize, Dave and Sue Wallace of Derby, Chuck and Peggy Henson of Huntsville, Ala., James Henson, Loren and Debbie Henson, both of Hutchinson; sister, Rose Pocaro of Boston, Mass.; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steven Fairbanks; a brother, Sydney Panetta; and a sister, Stella Edmonds.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson, with Father Nicholas Voelker presiding. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday with family present 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
