Surviving are one daughter, Jean (Keith) Ball of Bourbonnais; one son, James F. (Debby) Peters of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Frieda was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Ashkum and the Ashkum Legion Auxiliary. She volunteered at Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ashkum. Rev. Don Gillespie will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ashkum Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton as well as one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday.
Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church in Ashkum, Prairieview Lutheran Home in Danforth or Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
