Robert S. Kocenko, 84, of Endicott, passed away Wednesday morning, April 2, 2014, at his home.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Susie (Bussa) Kocenko, Endicott; one son, Robert J. Kocenko, Endicott; his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Michael Hayes; two grandsons, Michael and Stephen Hayes, all of Slate Hill, NY; two sisters, Pearl Topa, Johnson City, and Josephine Vojtisek, Endicott; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Ann Kenderes, Endicott; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, especially Rita and Phil, Annmarie and David, and Bill and Nadine.

He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, Endicott, a veteran of the US Marines serving during the Korean War, a member of the American Legion Post #1700, the Marine Corps League, and a member of the Binghamton Country Club. Bob was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman who enjoyed spending time at Cayuga Lake with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott, and at 12:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 210 Hill Ave., Endicott. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 2-4 and evening 7-9 p.m. The Rev. Alexey Karlgut will hold a Parastas service Friday 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
