Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear....

Our hearts were broken with the passing of our Mom, Jenny L. Miller, 52, of Athens, Pa., on Friday, April 4, 2014.

Jenny was born on August 6, 1961 in Elmira, N.Y., a daughter of the late Charles Jackson and Laura Mae (Wales) Miller. She was a graduate of Troy High School class of 1979 and the Robert Packer School of Nursing in 1982. She lovingly cared for others as a registered nurse at the Robert Packer Hospital for 28 years in the ICU department. Her caring ways and loving heart will fondly be remembered by those who knew her. Jenny was a member of the Christian Life Church in Waverly. She treasured her family, friends and always looked forward to attending her children's music and sporting events.

Jenny will be greatly missed by her daughter Mary Williams and fiancé Darin Finnerty, and her son Michael Williams, all of Athens, Pa.; sisters and brothers-in-law Charlotte and John Steele of Aurora, Colo., Kathryn and Kurt DeWalt of Millerton, Pa., and Laura Miller of Millerton, Pa.; her brothers and sisters-in-law Russell and Carmen Miller of East Smithfield, Pa., Charles Miller of Ulster, Pa., James Miller and Danielle Curry of Litchfield, Pa.; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews Elizabeth Crooks, Laura DeWalt, Bryan DeWalt, Jessica Miller, Meghan Chivara, Alison Miller, James Miller and Kaylynne Miller. She is also survived by her canine companion Joseph and feline companions Reese and Zeus. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Laura Miller.

Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing memories on Tuesday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A funeral service and celebration of Jenny's life will follow at noon with Pastor Dean W. Santon officiating. A private family interment will follow in the Alder Run Cemetery in Millerton, Pa. Memories and condolences for Jenny's family may be shared by visiting our website at www.sutfinfuneralchapel.com.

Those who wish may kindly consider a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society, www.acs.org, or the Kevin Guest House, for they were so kind to us while we were in Buffalo, Kevin Guest House, 782 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, N.Y. 14203, kevinguesthouse.org, in loving memory of Jenny L. Miller.
