Maria Dolores Palomino passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2009. Maria was born on September 19, 1969 in Montebello, CA. She was one of seven children to Joe and Dolores Beckworth. She moved from southern California to Visalia, Ca. when she was 13yrs. old. Maria graduated from Mount Whitney High School in 1987. Shortly after is when she met John Palomino. On April 27, 1991, Maria married the love of her life, John. Six months later on October 21, 1991, Jonathon Samuel Reza Palomino was born. Three years later her second son Alexander Thomas Palomino was born. Maria worked at Jenny Craig as a dietary consultant, and for the past nine years worked as a claims processor for Cigna Health Care Insurance. Maria was very committed to her job, customers and fellow co-workers. Another thing that was very important to her was her 2 ½ year old god daughter, Nayah Rios. Maria enjoyed going to the beach, watching I Love Lucy and Law and Order SVU, and most of all watching her boys compete in their sports. Every morning Maria would faithfully look for the Mount Whitney Sports section to stay up dated on the current team stats and standings. She was the "ULTIMATE SPORTS MOM". Maria was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, great friend and most of all loving wife and awesome mother. Maria is survived by her husband John Palomino, her two sons, Jonathon and Alex. Her parents Joe and Delores Beckworth, Six siblings, Sister Eileen Lopez, husband Andy, nephews, Adam, Brandon, and Christian. Brother Tom Beckworth, wife Karen, nephew Matthew, neice Sophia. Brother Joe Beckworth, wife Kelly, neice Brittaney, nephew Joseph. Brother Paul Beck worth, wife Sandra. Brother Sam Beckworth, wife Kim, nieces, Mckenzie and Taylor. Sister Rebecca Hendrickson, husband Jeremy, nephew Jadon, niece Elianna. Proceeds in death Juan Palomino. Mother-in-law Sarah Palomino. Brother-in-law Art Palomino, wife Robin, neice Nicole. A rosary will be held Monday 6:00 p.m. at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel and visitation will be held Monday 4-7 p.m. at Salser and Dillard Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by interment at Visalia District Cemetery. Memorial celebrations will be held at Joe and Maria Ortiz home immediately following. In, lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Palomino boys college fund.
