Died 12:32 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1987, at St. Tammany Hospital, Covington. He was 67, a native of Covington and longtime resident of Baton Rouge. He was a retired Southern Silica Inc. employee. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. Private services were held at Welsh Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by Dr. John Robson. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Wilma Bossier Blossman; two daughters, Sandra Kearns, Covington, and Barbara Philibert, Mandeville; four sisters, Clara Motichek, Madisonville, Madeline Heintz, Metairie, Mildred Blossman, Covington, and Ruth Trabeaux, Arabi; a brother, Frank Blossman, Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Patrick and Andrew Kearns,all of Covington. Preceded in death by parents, Jesse and Magdalena Blossman; and a sister, Grace Blossman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Downs Syndrome Project, 3365 Dalrymple Dr., Baton Rouge, 70802.
