Betty Jane Crow, formerly of Plainview, passed away April 5, 2014 in Colorado. Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the personal care of Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 7-8p.m. Friday at Lemons Funeral Home.
Betty was born on March 17, 1931 to Judge C.L. and Hazel (Cline)Abernethy in Santa Ana, California. Betty graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a bachelors degree in education. She was a second grade teacher for the Plainview Independent School District for 22 years. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Plainview.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patricia.
She is survived by her sons; Dr. Caris Lynn Crow of Las Vegas, NV, Dr. Clay Crow of Las Vegas, NV and Richard Crow of Denver, CO, her youngest sister Carolyn Rankin of San Angelo, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
