Francis V. Richardson of Waukesha, died Saturday, July 24, 2010 at LindenGrove Waukesha at the age of 84. He was born on March 29, 1926 in Adrian, Kansas, the son of Francis A. and Nora (Feaker) Richardson. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. After working at many jobs over the years, he was employed at Inland Diesel as a mechanic until retirement. In his younger days, Francis had a pilot's license and loved to fly. He was a member of the VFW Post 721, and attended First Assembly of God in Waukesha. He enjoyed traveling and fishing, and even built his own boat. He especially enjoyed the camaraderie of playing cards with friends.
Francis will be deeply missed by his wife of 58 years, 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Iva Mae Griffiths and Hazel Pillsbury; 2 brothers: Arthur and Fred Richardson; and his parents.
