He was a member of Beach Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Galloway of Bardwell; two daughters, Mrs. Edwina Gray of Cairo, Ill. and Mrs. Elizabeth Adcock of Detroit, Mich.; four sons,. James C. Galloway of Bardwell Rt. 1, Orville L. Galloway Jr. of Bardwell Rt 1, Leonard G. Galloway of Toledo, Ohio and the Rev. George Galloway of SouthShore; brother Robert T. Galloway of Byhilia, Miss.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Milner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
