Mrs. Mary Virginia Blue, a resident of this area for 50 years, passed away yesterday morning in Lomita Park at the home of her son, W. L. Blue. She was 84 years of age.
A native of California, Mrs. Blue had made her home on Harney lane in the Live Oak district for one half a century. She was the wife of the late H.M. Blue, local rancher, who preceded her in death in 1946. She had gone to Lomita Park to visit her son within the past few weeks.
Mrs. Blue was also the mother of L.D. Blue and Cecil Blue, both of Lodi, and leaves six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
She was the sister of Mrs. Nina Williams of Lodi and Mrs. John Trowbridge, Santa Cruz.
Interment in Lodi Cemetery.
